• Display shared movies inside Pods and on other members’ “For You” page, when relevant
• Improve content relevance based on how Pods interact
• Maintain and optimize app performance

Your interactions help us:

• Tailor your home feed
• Recommend Pods
• Highlight movies shared by people within your Pods

We may notify you about:

• Pod activity
• Updates, feature releases
• Subscription reminders or billing notices

• Prevent misuse or abuse
• Enforce our Terms of Service
• Detect suspicious or harmful activity

• When you share a movie, Pod members can see that activity.
• Shared movies may appear on other members’ “For You” page as part of the collaborative recommendation experience.
• Your name or profile may appear alongside your shared content.

This includes:

• Cloud hosting
• Analytics platforms
• Payment processors

They receive only the data needed to perform their functions and are bound by confidentiality.

We may disclose information if required to:

• Comply with law or legal requests
• Protect our users or platform integrity

When you purchase or subscribe to Pod+, your payment is processed by the applicable app store, such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. WatchPod does not directly receive or store your full credit or debit card information when your purchase is processed by these third parties.

We receive limited information related to your subscription, such as your subscription status, subscription plan, purchase or renewal date, expiration date, transaction or subscription identifier, and whether a purchase was successfully completed, renewed, canceled, or refunded.

Your payment provider’s collection and use of payment information is governed by its own privacy policy and terms.

We use information associated with your Pod+ subscription to:

• Provide and maintain your Pod+ features and benefits;
• Verify your subscription status and eligibility for paid features;
• Process and administer subscription changes, renewals, cancellations, and refunds, as applicable;
• Provide customer support and troubleshoot subscription-related issues;
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access to paid features;
• Understand how Pod+ features are used and improve WatchPod and Pod+; and
• Comply with applicable legal, accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

You may cancel your Pod+ subscription through the app at any time or the platform or payment provider through which you purchased it. Canceling your subscription does not delete your WatchPod account or the information associated with your account.

If your Pod+ subscription expires or is canceled, you will lose access to Pod+ features at the end of the applicable subscription period. We will retain information relating to your subscription and prior use of Pod+ as described in this Privacy Policy, so you can re-start where you left off, if you choose.

All Pod+ subscription payments are final and non-refundable. Canceling a Pod+ subscription stops future renewals but does not provide a refund or credit for any portion of the current subscription period. You will continue to have access to Pod+ through the end of your already-paid subscription period.

We may modify the features and benefits included with Pod+ from time to time. If a change affects how we collect, use, or share your personal information in a manner that requires an update to this Privacy Policy or notice under applicable law, we will provide the appropriate notice.
